Accelerating our research and technology development
The i-Nov Innovation Competition is a support system designed to select innovation projects with particularly strong potential for the French economy. Funded by the French government through the Future Investment Program (PIA), i-Nov is operated by Ademe and Bpifrance and provides co-financing for research, development and innovation projects ranging from €600,000 to €5 million.
Encouraging the emergence of tomorrow’s great French champions
As part of the France 2030 plan announced in October 2021, France has set itself the goal of establishing its industrial and technological sovereignty while continuing its efforts to lower carbon emissions in its industry. This competition of excellence is dedicated to innovative single-partner projects led by startups and SMEs as a means of fostering the accelerated emergence of companies that are leaders in their field and have the potential to reach a global scale. Out of 278 applications, 73 projects were selected as winners and granted €45.8 million in aid.
SMART COACHING, a Deep Tech project
Our Smart Coaching project is designed to offer intelligent and interactive tools for a digitalized customer and advisor relationship. It capitalizes on artificial intelligence to design a personal coaching platform that can support and motivate contact center advisors to acquire new skills to respond in real time. This is made possible by cutting-edge technological tools based on continuous quality measurements of interactions.
- Handles a large volume of conversational data in real time and extracts individual characteristics of the call center advisors
- Allows call center advisors to self-assess via a seamless interface showing their strengths and areas for improvement
- Offers a unique and secure platform for personalized coaching through a virtual coach whose mission is to orchestrate the content of the coaching. This includes employee knowledge, areas for improvement, situational simulation using AI, instant feedback, and a progress dashboard.
“The entire Zaion team is extremely proud to have won this innovation competition. It is a chance to be recognized and supported by the French government. It further justifies our strategy to invest in R&D and thus establish our industrial and technological sovereignty. Made in France has always been a priority for us. The Zaion Lab is a driver of innovation for France and Europe. In addition, we would like to thank Cap Digital for its support.”
Franz Fodéré, President and Founder at Zaion
“The Smart Coaching project marks a real revolution from both a technological and organizational point of view. From a technical point of view, we are addressing a major challenge of artificial intelligence: to automatically generate coherent and natural end-to-end dialogues with an expressive and scalable synthetic voice. From an organizational point of view, this project is a promising endeavor at collaboration between call center advisors and artificial intelligence: human-AI collaboration. As such, we are helping to build the working world of tomorrow as we imagine it: hybrid, flexible and at the service of people.”
