French startup Zaion, founded in 2017, has been selected by the Innov'up Leader PIA call for projects.
Innov'up Leader PIA aims to support innovative projects, particularly in products and services based on artificial intelligence, which offer a clear market vision and where the project leader demonstrates the ability to become a major player in the sector.
Projects are selected by a regional committee comprising a representative of the French State, a representative of the Ile-de-France Region and a representative of Bpifrance, with the Region and the State providing equal funding.
This support will enable Zaion to speed up the creation of Zaion Lab, a new R&D center based in the Paris region and specializing in technologies linked to artificial intelligence-enhanced customer relations.
Zaion Lab is headed by Franz Fodéré (Founder) and Gérard Chollet (Scientific Advisor). It is made up of a dozen PhDs, engineers and specialists in the targeted technologies, drawn from leading research laboratories and the most renowned schools in their fields. Zaion Lab aims to continue building up its team of top French and international experts, and to become a global benchmark in its sector.
An open space dedicated to meetings between professionals, customers, decision-makers and researchers, the Zaion Lab aims to promote collaborative work and experiment with new concepts in artificial intelligence-enhanced customer relations solutions.
This openness to the outside world is intended as a springboard for the most innovative ideas, which, by finding concrete applications, contribute to building the customer relationship of the future.
